SERDANG, July 19: More than 100 senior officers of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and all members of the University Management Committee (JPU) attended the Second Quarterly (Q2) Key Performance Index (KPI) Achievement Assessment Workshop 2018.
The workshop was organised by the Corporate Strategy and Communications (CoSComm) Office and was held at the Senate Hall in the Putra Chancellery Building.
The objective of the workshop was to report the results of the KPI performance set for the year 2018. UPM’s KPI was measured periodically on a quarterly basis such as the first quarter (Q1), the second quarter (Q2), the third quarter (Q3) and the fourth quarter (Q4), and they were in accordance with the total number of KPIs that had been set.
The KPIs developed by UPM were based on the university's seven core services which were based on the portfolios of members of the University Management Committee that included academic, research and innovation, student affairs, industry and community network, human resources, financial management, as well as Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
UPM also measured the Agricultural performance as the main thrust field according to the KPIs agreed by the University Management Committee.
At the event, the Vice-Chancellor of UPM, Prof. Datin Paduka Dato 'Dr. Aini Ideris had also presented the Overall KPI Performance in the second quarter of 2018.
This was followed by the presentations of the second quarter KPI of 2018 by other officials and their respective portfolios namely the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni), Prof. Dr. Mohd Roslan Sulaiman; Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal Saripan; Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Prof. Dr. Zulkifli Idrus; and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Industry and Community Network), Prof. Dato' Dr. -Ing. Ir. Renuganth Varatharajoo.
The second quarter (Q2) KPI of 2018 was also presented by the Registrar, Dato’ Wan Azman Wan Omar; Bursar, Zulkiflee Othman; and Chief Librarian, Muzaffar Shah Kassim. - UPM
